Cheryl received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 1993. She started her career at Carleton University’s Sports Therapy Clinic prior to opening her clinic in Osgoode in 1996. Cheryl is proud to be able to treat the rural residents of the Osgoode area and enjoys a special interest in Sports Medicine.
A sixth generation native of Metcalfe, Cheryl lives with her husband Hugh McEwen, children Kate & Stuart and a menagerie of pets on Heather Crest Dairy Farm. A nominee for the YMCA-YWCA 2005 Women of Distinction Awards in the Community Entrepreneurial Spirit Category, Cheryl loves owning a business in her home community. A busy Mom, she also plays hockey, coaches and is President of the Metcalfe Agricultural Society and Past President of Metcalfe & District Hockey Association.

Teri received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario in 1993. She grew up in the small south-western Ontario town of Ayr. She has a diverse Physio background which includes hand therapy, acupuncture, and vertigo rehab. Teri enjoys camping and the outdoors and manages a busy household which includes husband Kevin, grown children Emily and Kerrigan and chocolate lab Coby. A resident of “just off” Manotick Station Teri has been with our team since 2005. Though many people ask, she is not related to the Metcalfe Rowans.

Jessica van Koppen is a Physiotherapist who recently graduated from Queen’s University and previously completed a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Ottawa in Health Sciences, specializing in population and public health with a microprogram in aging studies.
Growing up in the Metcalfe area, she is excited to give back to the community by helping individuals regain mobility, improve their quality of life, and enhance their physical performance. Outside of physiotherapy, she enjoys all things outdoors, has a love for animals, and finds relaxation in a good book; You might also find her at the arena coaching or playing ringette.
Jessica played competitive ringette (for Metcalfe Hornets, Nepean Ravens, and the University of Ottawa) and has coached with the national ringette school during summers. She continues to run to train for half marathons.
Her treatment approach combines manual therapy and exercise in an evidence-based manner. Jessica is also rostered in dry needling after completing the level 1 course with Evidence in Motion, further enhancing her treatment approach.
